SHIPPING NOTES:

The delivery process normally takes approx. 3-5 working days. The exception to this is during peak times e.g. Christmas. If you need a parcel in time for an occasion please let us know – we can arrange next day delivery for a small (carrier) surcharge – ring the office with your request before you make your purchase to ensure we can meet your requirements.

Your purchase will be well packaged and, if applicable, in its original box. An email is normally sent when item is shipped to alert you of an imminent delivery.

In the event of an item being withdrawn or unavailable you will be advised of a delivery date or offered a full refund whichever is your choice.

Please ensure someone is available to sign for your parcel, or leave a note on the door informing the driver to obtain a signature from a designated neighbour. For advice on charges for unsuccessful deliveries please read notes below.

BUSINESS ADDRESS DELIVERIES (9am –5.30pm) The courier will attempt only one delivery, so please ensure someone is available to sign for your parcel even during lunchtime. Unsuccessful delivery attempts incur a courier charge of £10 + vat for returning the item to us and a further delivery charge will be applicable to re-send it out to you again - a purchase will be deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

HOME ADDRESS DELIVERIES (8am -9pm) The courier will make two attempts to deliver the item. You can either collect it in person from your local depot or arrange a re-delivery. Please ensure someone is at home to take delivery. Unsuccessful delivery attempts incur a courier charge of £10 + vat for returning the item to us and a further delivery charge will be applicable to re-send it out to you again - a purchase will be deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

GENERAL SHIPPING/POSTAGE INFORMATION
 Where a courier is not used, Proof of Posting is always obtained.
 Disclaimer - Queens Leather are not responsible for delivery times once the item is sent off.
 ITEMS WITHIN UK will be sent via Royal Mail either by 1st Class mail, Parcel/Small Packet Service, or Courier service – Queens Leather reserves the right to assess the best delivery method according to weight restrictions.
 ITEMS WITHIN EUROPEAN UNION will be sent either by Royal Mail Airmail or by Parcel Courier.
 Shipping Costs are based on weight, and volumic size of the item.

 

RETURNS NOTES:

We always wrap items for the maximum transit protection. Please check the box is intact and not dented when you take receipt from the delivery agent. If it is dented or damaged do not accept it or sign for it. In the unlikely event of a fault found within the box, please email us WITHIN 24 HOURS of receipt of the item(s). If a fault is not reported immediately on arrival, returning postage costs will not be offered. You will receive a return shipping refund (up to the shipping value you were charged at checkout) however postage costs for returning the item will not be refunded where the replacement item is refused. A purchase is deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The returning item(s) must be unused, and in the original packaging (this includes any boxes/bags/dust bags/tags/labels etc) in order to qualify for a full refund. The item must be returned to us within 7-10 days after you received it. For your protection we recommend you re-package carefully and obtain a ‘proof of postage certificate’ from the post office or send by ‘Recorded’ delivery. Courier items will have a tracking number.

Overseas items are checked for faults before leaving the UK, and any faulty goods on arrival will be deemed the responsibility of the carrier. Postage is non-refundable. All efforts to assist you in a claim will be made. A purchase is deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 


RETURNING UNWANTED ITEMS:

In the event of an item not being suitable due to colour or size etc, then a full item refund is given within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, providing we are informed in writing within 7 days of delivery. Postage costs are non-refundable. Do not return items without first emailing your intentions and obtaining a reference number. The item must be repackaging in its original packaging and box, complete with labels etc and must be unused. For your own protection we recommend sending it with a proof of postage certificate, or Recorded delivery. Returning courier items will have a tracking number.
We charge a standard £3.50 fee to cover administration costs, restocking, & any credit card fees we are charged. A purchase is deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.


WARRANTY NOTICE

If an item develops a fault within one month of purchase we offer a back to base no quibble item exchange policy. Postage costs to return the item are at the buyer’s expense. To qualify for an exchange the item must not have been damaged due to customer misuse or mishandling. Where an exchange is not possible a credit note will be offered.

Items which develop a fault after one month, with be repaired or replaced. The manufacturers warranty is for six months. A purchase will be deemed in compliance with these terms and conditions.
